Ruan spent some time with Caturra in their hometown of Tulbagh preparing for the recording stage. These pre-production sessions were a beautiful thing to share with the band, nestled in the basin of the Western Cape Winelands. It was the perfect environment to explore the songs and workshop them together.
‘Dissipate’ is one of four singles we recorded together, and we are very proud of this one. Influenced by a uniquely South African sound, with a splash of psychy modernity, ‘Dissipate’ is an outrageously fun song. Many thanks to the band for the beautiful process we shared and their trust in making this track come alive.
