Ruan (Sonic Nursery) is an engineer who is able to listen sensitively to notes/feedback, and who clearly supports the artist in finding and shaping their specific sound. His love for music is evident in his approach to mixing, which doesn't rely solely on his technical training but draws on his strongly developed intuition as an artist.
This was my first time working with a sound engineer of any kind because it’s not often that as an independent theatre maker, you get to engineer your own sound, so when you do, you want it done right! Ruan was such a warm and patient person to work with, it was a pleasure to work with him and I will be working with him again!
